Adelaide Insurance Services, sponsors of the UWHU Senior League recently ran a competition for clubs and schools to win Euro Sport vouchers.

The draw was made at the Annual awards lunch and the lucky winners were Ballymoney in the Club section and St.Dominics High School in the Schools.

A presentation was made by Mr Sam Geddis, Managing Director of Adelaide Insurance, to Lynsey McVicker, former Irish Captain of Ballymoney. Ballymoney received a £1,000 voucher to spend in Euro Sport, Lisburn. Lynsey said "this is great news for the club and will give us a good start for the new season".

Roisin Kennedy and Maria Gourley accepted a £500 voucher for Euro sport on behalf of St.Dominic's High School. The girls currently play at under 15 level and their coach Sinead O'Neill said they were delighted to receive the voucher as they are badly in need of new equipment. St Dominic's have had a very successful history in Schools hockey having won the Senior Schools Cup on several occasions, although they haven't had as much success of late, hopefully this voucher will give the hockey teams a great boost for the future. Mr Geddis said "We are delighted to be able to support Hockey at this level and particularly when we know it will be put to good use to the development hockey in the school".
